Hackers attacking Tender .fi return stolen funds and received a reward of 62 ETH

A hacker who hit $1.59 million on Tender.fi, a lending platform on Arbitrum, has now refunded, as shown on https://tender.fi. on-chain

Previously, hackers exploited misconfigured data oracles. This allowed them to borrow $1.59 million worth of crypto assets using a single GMX token valued at $70 as collateral. This is a costly error for the protocol.

Security firms PeckShield and BlockSec quickly looked into the matter. And found out that unusual loans can be made by a misconfigured oracle.

However, the hackers started transferring the money back. after both parties have agreedNegotiateThrough an on-chain message, the Tender.fi team has agreed to pay 62 ETH ($96,500) as a reward to the hackers.
