Gunzenhausen – ten euros for scratches – Bavaria

A stranger hit a parked car and left a ten euro note next to a message. A woman found a scratch on her car in Gunzenhausen (Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district) on Thursday and then came across notes and papers, as the Gunzenhausen police announced. The note read: “Sorry for the scratch, there are ten euros in the back of the mask, if that helps.” The FFP2 mask hung on the rear of the car. According to the police, the property damage amounts to more than 500 euros, which is why the ten euros can at best be viewed as a drop in the ocean.
