Grafing library: writing competition for young people – Ebersberg

Attention young detectives: The Grafing public library is now holding a writing competition – and crime stories are being sought. All third through sixth graders can participate. With the help of a hidden object picture, on which various suggestions for a possible “case” can be found, young crime fans can write their own story on paper and then submit it. You can pick up the hidden object in the Grafinger library. The stories should not be longer than 5000 characters (including spaces) and should be emailed as a PDF document to [email protected] by Friday, March 10th.

The competition was organized by the Sankt Michaelsbund and the German Academy for Children’s and Young Adult Literature, and libraries and schools can take part. The best stories will be chosen by the two parent organizations. But the Grafing public library also selects the three best stories from their submissions. So there are two chances to win. There are of course books as prizes, but also a writing workshop with professional authors. Interested parties can find more information online via the Michaelsbund.
