Gorillas, Flink and Co.: The hype about delivery services is over – economy

The hype about the food delivery services is finally over, the Germans are turning away from them. According to an international survey by the Boston Consulting Group, 68 percent of people surveyed in Germany said that they order food and drinks home less often. And what is true for Germany is also true for many other European countries and the USA, BCG found out in a survey of a total of 9,200 consumers. The delivery services have been groaning under the changed consumer behavior for some time. Most providers have never made any money, now a wave of takeovers is imminent. In all likelihood, this will also include Germany’s best-known, but also most controversial delivery service: gorillas.
