“Suits” reunion without Duchess Meghan

Several “Suits” stars celebrated a reunion at the Golden Globes. However, Duchess Meghan, who also took part, was not there.
Duchess Meghan not in the “Suits” group chat
At the award ceremony, Gabriel Macht (51) and Patrick J. Adams (42) stood with Gina Torres (54) and Sarah Rafferty (51). on stageto present one of the awards. It is not known why exactly Duchess Meghan was not there. The At least the industry magazine “Variety” had it It was reported before the event that, according to anonymous sources, other “Suits” stars had been invited alongside Macht and Adams.
Torres also told Variety that the stars of the series had a shared group chat, but Meghan was not a member of it. When Torres was asked on the red carpet whether the former series colleagues had planned the reunion, she explained that they had written to each other after it was clear that the meeting would happen.
The chat is “crazy at the moment,” laughed Torres. A madness that Meghan obviously missed. “We don’t have her number. We just don’t have it, so…” the actress explained. Meghan will certainly look at it all and “be happy that we are here”. Among others, the “New York Post” shows a corresponding excerpt from the conversation.
Could Meghan return to the camera?
After the series’ great streaming success in the USA, we reported back in October, among other things the industry portal “Deadline”that “Suits” should have some kind of spin-off set in the same universe.
“I think it’s still at an early stage,” Adams explained to Variety“It’s a series in the ‘Suits’ universe, like a ‘Suits LA’. Anyway, our fearless showrunner Aaron [Korsh] “I’m working on it.” Would he even want to play his character Mike Ross again? “If I got the call, I’d be willing to get back into the suit. I loved the show, I loved the character and I loved working with all these people.”
This apparently also includes Meghan, because Adams wouldn’t be averse to being in front of the camera with his ex-colleague again: “Sure, Mike and Rachel in Seattle have to come to LA and sort out a few things.” Also to “E! News” said Adams that he thinks the Duchess is “a fantastic actress” and would like to film a spin-off with her.
Would Meghan be willing to do that? In recent months there has been repeated speculation that the 42-year-old could return to acting.
