The American original “America’s Next Top Model” aired its first season in 2013 with so-called male models. Now Klum is following suit.
GNTM 2024: There will be a winner
In the GNTM final in 2024, both a male winner and a female winner will be chosen. Both will receive prize money of 100,000 euros and their own cover on Harper’s Bazaar magazine. Filming started in Berlin in October 2023. Heidi Klum selected the participants for the new season at an open casting.
Heidi Klum is also casting men for the first time
Klum revealed last summer that men would also be there in the 19th season. At that time, she posted a video on her Instagram account that was taken on the plane and showed Klum recruiting a flight attendant as a candidate for her show.
Another candidate who was decided in advance is Tracy Baumgarten. She was a candidate for the 18th GNTM season, but then left voluntarily. In the finale she sat in the audience and addressed Heidi Klum live. “I realized that I let a very big opportunity pass me by and I deeply regret my decision. Heidi, at this point I would like to ask you if you would like me to be part of the next season?” said Baumgarten. Klum then assured the 26-year-old a place in the new season.
