The breathtaking clip was originally published in 2021 by the marine research foundation “Schmidt Ocean Institute” – but on the occasion of the annual World Octopus Day on October 8th, the NGO “The Oxygen Project” posts the clip on Twitter.

The rare recordings are made in the Pacific in the area of ​​the island state of Kiribati.
