Over the years, numerous jurors have sat next to Heidi Klum on “Germany’s next top model”. What are the ex-jurors doing now?

For several seasons, Heidi Klum (49) has been the only permanent juror on “Germany’s next top model” to hold the scepter. Also this year, from February 16 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben, she will be supported in her decisions by changing guest judges week after week. Until season 13, the co-jurors still had a permanent place alongside Klum, albeit never permanently. Apart from Klum’s good friend Thomas Hayo (54), the half-life of most jurors was rather short. After an average of two seasons, they said goodbye again. But where exactly?

Thomas Hayo

With eight seasons, creative director Thomas Hayo was the longest permanent judge at Klum’s side. He started in season six alongside Thomas Rath (56) in 2011 and ended his “GNTM” time in 2018 after three years of team competition with Michael Michalsky (55). He has definitely not been forgotten since then. Not only does he continue to celebrate great success with his job as creative director – most recently he was the man behind the underwear advertising campaign by Heidi and daughter Leni Klum (18). He can also be seen regularly on TV and not only as an annual guest judge in the model casting show. In 2018 he took part in the “Duel around the world – Team Joko versus Team Klaas”, in autumn 2022 he was in the costume of the whistle on “The Masked Singer”.

Peyman Amine

From season one to four, the Tehran-born model agent Peyman Amin (51) accompanied the “GNTM” girls on their way into the model world. 2010 was the end. But Amin didn’t want to say goodbye to television completely. He then moderated the “GNTM” spin-off “Die Model WG” for a year, and at the end of 2012 he was on the jury for “Million Dollar Shooting Star”. He had his last major television appearance in 2017 as a judge on “Curvy Supermodel”. Since then, Amin has been quiet. He has lived in Munich since 2008 and takes care of his modeling agency.

Bruce Darnel

Bruce Darnell (65) and his unique fashion tips are still unforgettable today. Keyword: “The handbag must be alive”. It’s hard to believe that his “GNTM” time was 15 years ago. The fact that we still remember him so well is not only due to the legendary advice, but also to his continued media presence. “Wok-WM”, “Das Supertalent”, “DSDS” – Darnell had secured his place on German TV even after “GNTM”. But over the years things have calmed down for him too. In 2020 his time on the “Supertalent” jury ended alongside Dieter Bohlen (69). Darnell’s own show “Surprise! The Bruce Darnell Show” had to be canceled in 2021 due to a lack of ratings.

Rolf Scheider

Darnell’s replacement in 2008 was Rolf Scheider (66), aka Rolfe. The casting director served as a jury colleague for Klum for two years. After his exit, he initially caused a stir with his public criticism of the TV show. “When the cameras go out, we are no longer a happy extended family,” he explained to the “Bild” newspaper. He did not turn his back on show business either, and took part in the jungle camp in 2015. After further TV appearances such as “Das Große Promibacken” (2016) or “Die Küchenschlacht” (2017), Schneider turned back to the modeling business behind the scenes. In addition to his job as a casting director, he is the founder of two modeling agencies.

Boris Entrup

For many years, Boris Entrup (44) was part of the permanent inventory of “Germany’s next top model”. He only served as a judge on the show for season two in 2007. However, he stayed with the show for a long time as a testimonial and makeup artist for Maybelline. In the form of a short commercial, the “Maybelline Make-Up School with Boris Entrup” was shown for many seasons after each “GNTM” episode. His collaboration with the brand ended after twelve years, but his career as a sought-after hair and make-up artist did not end there. The make-up artist has had his own studio since 2020, where he offers individual consultations.

Christian Schuller

Kristian Schuller (52) was the first fashion photographer to sit on the jury in 2010. Although he only kept it for one season, the audience still gets to see the native Romanian almost every year. During elaborately staged photo shoots, he photographs the girls and tells Heidi his assessment. Schuller also finds work away from the show. He has long been considered a sought-after and renowned fashion photographer and has had stars like Penélope Cruz and Sharon Stone in front of his lens.

Qualid “Q” Ladraa

One that many have probably already forgotten: Qualia “Q” Ladraa (40). In addition to Schuller, the then 27-year-old completed the jury in season five. After that, then-advisor to Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier (1958-2015) disappeared from the scene as quickly as he had appeared. Ladraa now lives in California and has founded a cannabis products company there. Around 7,500 fans follow him on Instagram. To this day, he “still has a great relationship” with Klum, he asserted in an interview in 2018.

Who else was on the “GNTM” jury?

In recent seasons, other personalities from the fashion world have stood by Klum’s side. Stylist Armin Morbach (season one) and designers Thomas Rath (season six and seven), Wolfgang Joop (season nine and ten) and Michael Michalsky (season eleven, twelve and thirteen) gave the young models their tips along the way.
