While two twins fight for individual recognition, a candidate with unusual talent gets a laugh. In the end, two models have to say goodbye.

Two young models at “Heidi Klum (50) was unable to convince Germany’s Next Top Model. For Alexandra (21) and Max (20) it was over after the comp card shooting and the hidden casting for the first customer of this season.

Max wasn’t convincing during the shoot and was too robotic, Klum explained her decision in the episode broadcast on Thursday evening. She had words of comfort for Alexandra and advised her: “Don’t give up on your dream.”

Tutoring in casting

Klum gave the candidates tutoring in the casting in the seventh episode of the show – they had to present themselves in front of her and were watched in the background by the critical eyes of the customers. The aspiring models opened up, reported on their bullying experiences, danced and Max even introduced a very special talent: “I can bark,” he said and made the other participants laugh with him with dog noises.

Aldin (22) and Kadidja (21) particularly shone, as they were ultimately selected for the job by the customers and remained successful. In Klum’s opinion, other participants presented themselves as too shy and lacking in energy. The twins Julian (24) and Luka (24) clearly found it difficult to show themselves alone. But it is important that the two of them develop individually, noted Klum.

Harsh criticism from Christian Anwander

During the comp card shoot, the aspiring models had to face not only Klum but also harsh criticism from long-time photographer Christian Anwander (39). They posed for the model portfolio in a jeans look. But of the twin brothers, only Julian shone, Luka struggled until the end. “You have to be able to do it without your brother,” criticized Anwander.

But Max, who had previously talked about his father’s illness, had to say goodbye. Alexandra, Mare (22), Grace (24), Lilli (24) and Nuri (22) also had to tremble in the decision. “That’s because you just can’t get out of the loop,” said Klum. Then Alexandra had to go.
