A World War II bomb was found in Geretsried in Upper Bavaria. About 1500 people should leave their homes to defuse and stay with friends and relatives or in public institutions, the police said.
The evacuation has been going on since the early afternoon. The defusing of the 150 kilogram bomb in the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district was planned for the “early to mid-evening”.
