Gérald Darmanin wants to dissolve a publishing house distributing “works legitimizing jihad”



“Promote the human and political sciences stemming from the Muslim heritage while contributing to the renewal of these disciplines”. This is how the publishing house defines itself Nawa, based in Ariège, in the sights of Gérald Darmanin. The Minister of the Interior has just launched a dissolution procedure against him, in particular because of the dissemination of “several works legitimizing jihad”.

“His editorial line is clearly anti-universalist and in direct contestation of Western values,” said the minister’s entourage, adding that his leaders are “linked to the jihadist sphere”.

Declared in the Pamiers prefecture since 2008, this “Center for Oriental Studies and Translation” is an “associative publishing house”. Thursday, a measure to freeze assets targeting the association and its leaders was taken according to a decree published in Official newspaper.
