There were a few surprises in The Book of Boba Fett. One is thanks to George Lucas. He used to worry about Baby Yoda…

“Star Wars” inventor George Lucas (77) and the new star in the galaxy, Baby Yoda, became personal friends some time ago. This is proven by a photo from January 2020. “The Mandalorian” creator Jon Favreau (55) shared the snapshot on Twitter. He shows Lucas on the set of the “Star Wars” series how he tenderly holds the Yoda doll in his arms. But the encounter wasn’t quite so hesitant after all…

Like “Esquire” citing the “Star Wars” book As reported in “The Art of The Mandalorian: Season 2,” George Lucas was initially concerned about Baby Yoda, aka “the Child.” He therefore shared his concerns with Dave Filoni (47), who is a producer and author on the Disney + series “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett”. “I once had a conversation with George about the kid,” Filoni reveals in the book, according to the report. His biggest concern was “that the child has to be sufficiently trained”.

However, George Lucas was first heard in the series “The Book of Boba Fett”. The TV show about the legendary bounty hunter has been on Disney + in recent weeks as an offshoot of “The Mandalorian”. The second season of The Mandalorian previously ended with Grogu, Baby Yoda’s real name, leaving with Luke Skywalker to be trained as a Jedi. The Boba Fett series actually got fans to see Skywalker teaching his little student…

Warning, spoilers!

Luke Skywalker finally gave Grogu a choice in The Book of Boba Fett, whether to continue Jedi training or go back to Din Djarin, the Mandalorian. The reunion of Din Djarin and Baby Yoda was seen in the last episode of the new Fett series. The little one uses his newly learned skills from Skywalker to save his friend. The Boba Fett finale ended with Grogu and Din Djarin heading to an unknown destination, arguably teasing The Mandalorian season 3. It is not yet known when exactly the new episodes will start.
