What if… prenatal tests identified those babies who had chances of getting a higher education? The level of acceptance would be astounding – as is often the case with completely speculative specifications.

It has potential for excitement study in the journal Science anyway. What? A good half of the Americans surveyed consider the selection of those embryos that will later have a higher educational qualification to be morally justifiable? And oh my! Almost half would even allow their own offspring to undergo such genetic tests before implanting the embryo in order to make admission to Harvard, Princeton and Co. more likely? Unbelievable, these people! Vote for Trump and will stop at nothing to improve their children.
