A two-year-old boy was run over by a car near Gärtnerplatz in Munich, but survived. The two-year-old was hit by the car in the area of a gas station exit on Baaderstrasse. The Munich fire department said the police are now investigating how the accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon.
Several emergency vehicles responded, including a pediatric emergency doctor. The boy was taken to a Munich clinic in an ambulance. After the first examination, serious internal injuries were ruled out. The child only suffered bruises and abrasions, it said.
