The inglorious saga of Gareth Bale at Real Madrid continues. The Welshman is now facing a penalty for apparently faking an injury.
The relationship between Gareth Bale and Real Madrid is already heavily burdened, and the goodbye in the summer is basically sealed. Now the dissonance over an alleged injury to the Welshman has reached a new level.
Bale will be unavailable for Los Blancos in the league game against Espanyol due to back pain, it is said. There are obviously doubts about this at Real, because the Spanish journalist Carlos Rodriguez from the radio station Onda Madrid wrote on Twitter that the club was considering a penalty for the winger.

It’s not the first time that Bale is unable to play due to complaints that Real Madrid find difficult to understand. The absences are “suspicious” and would not convince the medical department.
The last time this happened was when Bale also complained about his bad back before the Clasico against FC Barcelona (0:4), but trained with team-mates from the Welsh national team the day after the game. In addition, he was not even present in the stadium during the duel with Barca.
However, according to Rodriguez, Real are also considering how sensible a sanction would be in view of the impending separation and the fact that greater unrest in the decisive phase of the season would only represent an unnecessary disruptive factor.
