The association Kunst-Kompass München Nord is planning a new project and is looking for creative co-designers. Just as schools, clubs, and citizens contributed creatively to the “Garchinger Stelen” in 2021, the association hopes for a corresponding response to its new project “Garchinger Liegestuhl-Kunst”, which is supported by the city.
“We would like to invite all interested Garching residents to participate in the design. Our Garching artists should conjure up motifs from their favorite painters or templates provided by us with acrylic paints on the fabrics,” says the association. 70 deck chair fabrics are provided by Kunst-Kompass. They are to be presented for around four weeks from May 13, 2023 on the Bürgerplatz and Rathausplatz and in the pedestrian zone. At the end of the exhibition, on June 24th, they will be auctioned off. The proceeds will go to a non-profit organization in Garching.
