Kent was famous for EastEnders and Shameless. Millions saw him in a 2014 episode of Game of Thrones as a goatherd from Slavers Bay.

“Darren was not only a talented actor, director and writer, but also one of the nicest people I have ever met,” the statement continues. “It was a privilege and a pleasure to have been a part of his journey. RIP my friend.”

Exactly how Kent died is not yet known.

The British-born actor made his debut in the 2008 film Mirrors and in the 2012 action film Snow White and the Huntsman opposite Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron.
