The inspection mission into Nicolas’ suicide investigated “the conditions in which a letter with deeply shocking terms could have been sent to this family”.
A letter that “should never have been sent to this family”
“What emerges from the work of the mission is that this letter, in these terms, should never have been addressed to this family, in this situation,” indicates the Ministry of National Education in a statement sent to the AFP.
As a reminder, the letter from the rectorate sent in May to the parents of the harassed teenager who committed suicide in Poissy last September left Nicolas’s parents “outraged and appalled”.
