It was his summit and he can be satisfied. The G 7 proved capable of action in Elmau. They have passed resolutions that will further increase the economic pressure on Russian wartime President Vladimir Putin. They threw billions together to counteract the war-related global hunger crisis. They have also pledged their long-term support for Ukraine and their responsibility for the future security of this democracy invaded by Russia. The western world has ordered leadership, and US President Joe Biden has delivered.
