A burst tire stopped a fugitive from driving late Wednesday evening. According to the police, a 23-year-old driver overtook a column of vehicles at around 10:30 p.m. on the B 2 just before the Tonwerk. When he cut back, he collided with the car of a 20-year-old from Emmering. Without worrying about the consequences of the collision, he continued to overtake. The person who caused the accident didn’t get far. His journey came to an end at the entrance to Fürstenfeldbruck. An alcohol test revealed a value of 1.7 per mille. In addition, the driver could not produce a driver’s license. The vehicles suffered total damage of 10,000 euros.
