Funeral service of the police in Kusel

Around 200 guests are expected in the Fritz-Wunderlich-Halle in Kusel for the funeral service for the young policewoman who was killed and her colleagues. Minute of silence in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland

Two suspects from Saarland arrested

Since Tuesday, two suspects have been in custody on suspicion of joint murder and poaching. The 32 and 38-year-old Saarlanders are said to have shot a 24-year-old police officer and her 29-year-old colleague early Monday morning during a traffic check on a district road near Ulmet in the Kusel district.
