Anyone traveling between the west and east of Forstinning between Monday 10 October and at least Friday 18 November will have to make a long detour. The district road EBE 5 is being renovated and completely closed to traffic. Traffic will be diverted extensively.
The diversion runs in a westerly direction via the federal highway 12 to Hohenlinden, via the state highway 2086 in the direction of Ebersberg and then on the state highway 2080 to Schwaberwegen. The detour route runs in the opposite direction.
The work, which begins on October 10th, is the first of two construction phases. First, the eastern part of the through road, Mühldorfer Strasse, will be renovated. The roadway will be completely milled out over the entire length of 1.7 kilometers, from the junction with Moosstraße to federal highway 12, and a new binder course as well as a noise-reducing asphalt surface layer will be installed, and the drainage channels will also be renewed. The western part, Münchner Straße, is expected to be renovated in 2024. The responsible district office in Ebersberg puts the costs for the current construction phase at 773,000 euros.
