Four youths sentenced for lynching

According to information from Worldthis Friday, four young people were sentenced by the Bouches-du-Rhône miners’ assize court for having beaten and stabbed ten times a 23-year-old man, whom he suspected of having given the police the names small hands of a drug trafficking network in Marseille.

Three defendants were sentenced to six years in prison, the fourth having been sentenced to five years in prison. A fifth, however, was acquitted. These five young people were aged 16 to 19 at the time of the events and disputed their involvement in this case.
