A four-year-old stole from his parents’ apartment and went shopping alone in Swabia. The boy was noticed by a woman in the parking lot of a supermarket in Aichach, the police said on Wednesday. He only wore an undershirt upstairs and went “confidently” to the market on Tuesday. The woman called the police out of concern for the child. The four-year-old told the police that he wanted to go shopping – without telling his mother so. The police took the boy back to his home with no purchases. “The mother hadn’t noticed the short-term absence of the boy because she was busy in the apartment and thought the son was in his nursery,” the message said.
