Four vehicles involved in a tragic accident on the A13 motorway

A serious road accident took place this Friday morning around 8:15 am, on the A13 motorway, in the Paris-province direction. The tragedy occurred at Ecquevilly (Yvelines), at kilometer point 30.

According to information from 78news, four vehicles were involved in this accident. A first clash first took place between a heavy goods vehicle and a bus which was traveling empty. In cardiorespiratory arrest when the firefighters arrived, the bus driver died.

Fifty firefighters dispatched to the scene of the accident

A second collision then occurred a few meters further between three cars, the latter being the consequence of the first accident. Among the occupants, one person is in relative emergency and two others in absolute emergency (serious condition). One of them was airlifted to the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital in Paris.

Rescue operations were still underway at 10:30 a.m. The accident caused a major traffic jam from the exit of the A14 motorway. About 50 firefighters rushed to the scene.
