Hamilton withdraws from Extreme E
The seven-time Formula 1 world champion surprisingly announced that he would withdraw his team “X44” (based on his F1 starting number) from the racing series. And that’s ten days before the start of the season!
“After three years as part of the Extreme E family, we are announcing today that the X44 is leaving the series,” the racing team said on Wednesday (February 7). “We had an incredible three seasons as X44, winning several races and even a world championship.”
