Former Trump administration member dies after violent carjacking

Mike Gill, who worked as an official within the regulator of American trade exchanges under the Trump era, succumbed to his injuries on Monday, a week after being shot in the head.

The thug quickly fled the scene, before attacking other people, including a 35-year-old man, Alberto Vasquez Jr, whom he shot dead while driving his vehicle. He also attempted to steal a parked sedan, without success.

Artell Cunningham was eventually identified minutes later, driving a stolen SUV. In wanting to arrest him, the authorities confronted the assailant, armed with two pistols. He was eventually shot dead by police.

Mike Gill was pronounced dead on Monday, February 5. Donald Trump called him “brilliant (…) He was a unique man. His family and friends are devastated.. The District of Columbia Board of Elections, on which Mike Gill served for several years, described him as a “real friend” in a press release. “His sudden departure leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled”for his part reacted his wife, Kristina Gill.
