Former Daimler manager new boss – economy

The brake manufacturer Knorr-Bremse has found a successor for its CEO Jan Mrosik. The former Daimler and Mitsubishi manager Marc Llistosella (55) will become CEO on January 1, the MDax company announced on Thursday. The Supervisory Board decided this unanimously. The appointment is valid for three years. Predecessor Mrosik surprisingly left Knorr- Bremse in the spring. CFO Markus Weber has been running the company on an interim basis since mid-March. Llistosella was reportedly head of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus and head of Daimler Trucks in Asia until 2018. Most recently, he was active as an investor and founder, for example at the start-up Vaionic, which specializes in electric drives, and the Swedish company Einride, which develops electric and self-driving commercial vehicles. He is to retain his positions on the advisory and supervisory boards of these two companies.
