Weather becomes milder and more changeable

With temperatures in the plus range, snow is unlikely to be an issue in the coming days. The wind does pick up quite a bit again at times.
Temperatures in Germany will climb back into the positive range in the coming days. However, the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach announced that the weather would also be more changeable with precipitation and wind.
If the precipitation falls on the still frozen ground, there is a risk of slippery conditions locally. Snow is therefore hardly an issue, with only a few flakes falling in a few areas.
On Friday it will be sunny for a long time from the southern Upper Rhine to Lower Bavaria, otherwise the sky will be gray. At Temperatures from zero to plus five degrees will occasionally cause some freezing drizzle. Light permanent frost down to minus three degrees can only be found in individual areas in the southeast.
It could be windy again this weekend. “Stiff gusts will occur here and there, especially in the northern half, stormy gusts are possible in the mountains and on the coasts, and individual squalls are possible on Sunday,” said meteorologist Sebastian Schappert.
It will be coolest on Saturday with minus two to plus two degrees in the southeast, otherwise the values will rise to six degrees. South of the Danube and in southern Baden it will be a pleasant day with lots of sunshine, otherwise the sky will be gray again. It can rain or snow.
The two-part weather continues on Sunday: from southern Baden to Lower Bavaria it is partly sunny and dry, further north there is occasional rain or sleet from the many clouds. The temperatures are predominantly in the positive range with highs of up to six degrees.
