When a fire truck collided with a tractor, four people were injured in the Forchheim district – one of them critically. In addition, the accident on Friday caused damage of around 500,000 euros, as the police reported on Saturday.
Accordingly, a 51-year-old firefighter drove the fire engine and eight colleagues to a training operation. The collision occurred in Eggolsheim for initially unclear reasons. The 51-year-old was life-threatening, the 55-year-old tractor driver was seriously injured, it was said. Two of the eight firefighters suffered minor injuries. Blood should be taken from both drivers. An expert was consulted to clarify the course of events.
