- A Ukrainian drone dropped explosives on an electrical substation in a Russian village near the Ukrainian border on Friday morning, cutting off the power supply to a hospitall, said the governor of Kursk oblast.
- At least three women killed in Russian bombing that hit residential area of Kherson, in southern Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, President Zelensky’s advisor, announced on Twitter. According to the oblast prosecutor, the victims were hit while they were on the street.
- The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, assured that he would not help Russia circumvent international sanctions, following an interview in Berlin with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Thursday, while his country is suspected of helping Moscow despite these sanctions.
- The Twenty-Seven decided on Thursday to extend for another year, until March 2025, the protection granted to Ukrainian refugees within the entire European Union. Since March 4, 2022, Ukrainians fleeing the war started by Russia have benefited from a status allowing them to reside, work and access health care in all member states.
- Belarus accused a Polish helicopter on Thursday of violating its border twice. The Polish army, for its part, denied any crossing of the border, denouncing a declaration ” false “ Belarusian authorities.

- Received in kyiv by the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Jens Stoltenberg, said Thursday that the Ukrainian counter-offensive against the Russian army “gaining ground little by little”. Mr Stoltenberg also condemned Russian strikes near the border between Ukraine and NATO member Romania. Nothing proves that these are deliberate attacks against Romania, he specifies, nevertheless qualifying them as“reckless” and of “destabilizing”.
