Superbike fans had to wait ten years for a current game for the games console. A new edition is now available with realistic graphics, innovative controls and the drivers, teams and slopes of the 2022 season
The new video game for the Superbike World Championship 2022 was presented at the meeting in Misano, as the Milestone development team is based in Milan. The software company programmed the first official game about the near-series World Cup in 1999, most recently ten years ago.
The new game was created in close cooperation with drivers in order to present perspectives, controls and scenarios as realistically as possible. The result is a game with all the racetracks for the 2022 season, all the current drivers, teams and motorcycles. If you want, you can slip into the role of Álvaro Bautista (Ducati), Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki) or Toprak Razgatlioglu (Yamaha), or put together your own team and create the design yourself. Of course, the format of the Superbike World Championship with practice sessions, Superpole and races was adopted.
The player can only complete a training, simulate the full championship or tackle a career. A multi-player mode allows up to twelve players, of course also online as a group. The racing sim has been available since September 15 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam.
