Manchester United have signed Christian Eriksen from Premier League rivals FC Brentford. The Dane, who collapsed on the field at the EM 2021, is back in top football.

As expected, Manchester United have signed Danish national soccer player Christian Eriksen. The 30-year-old is moving from FC Brentford to the English record champions on a free transfer, where he meets superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and ex-Dortmunder Jadon Sancho. Eriksen has signed a three-year contract with Manchester until the summer of 2025, as reported by the club.

Christian Eriksen was the center of attention at EURO 2021 when he suddenly collapsed on the pitch with cardiac arrest in Denmark’s opening game against Finland at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium. Paramedics had to revive him. He was then fitted with a defibrillator.

After a long break, the midfielder, who played for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League from 2013 to 2020, made his comeback at FC Brentford. His contract with Inter Milan had previously been terminated because he was not allowed to play there with a defibrillator under the rules of the Italian Serie A.
