Maybe this is the evening when it really becomes clear that there is a God. Because two of the world’s largest religions come together: the Catholic Church and football. Both sit together in manifest duality as one person on a chair in front of the altar in the St. Maximilian Church on Tuesday evening. Instead of a stole, Schießler has the insignia of the Munich religion for those who suffer from sports, the white and blue scarf of the Munich Lions. He welcomes people for the presentation of his new book – it is the ninth – in his holy halls, his church.
