The Foo Fighters around Dave Grohl like to joke at their concerts. A very specific joke called Michael Bublé onto the scene.

Michael Bublé (47) dressed as a “superfan” at a Foo Fighters concert, caused a big surprise. This is how the funny incident happened: Since the band has been supported by their new drummer Josh Freese (50) at live shows, a little joke has crept into the program, which has now caused a big surprise.

Since Freese has worked with many artists over the course of his career, frontman Dave Grohl (54) always highlights him with a medley at concerts. The list includes Guns N’ Roses, Paramore, Blink-182, Avril Lavigne and of course Bublé.

No one can read the lyrics to “Haven’t Met You Yet”

In this context, Grohl has made it a habit to ask fans on stage to sing Michael Bublé’s song “Haven’t Met You Yet” with him, like “Entertainment Weekly” reported. In the past, however, the situation has apparently always arisen that nobody really knew the lyrics. “Every time someone says they know this song, they don’t know the damn song,” Grohl also complained at the Outside Lands Music Festival concert.

In order to avoid another failure, he brought a “superfan” of the jazz singer onto the stage at the festival. Grohl pointed to a man in the audience holding up a big “I love Bublé” sign like this Video of a concert visitor shows.

“Oh my god, it’s Michael Bublé”

It quickly turned out that it was the singer himself, as he mastered the text perfectly. “Oh my god, it’s Michael Bublé,” joked Dave Grohl after the successful performance. “He flew in from Argentina today just to sing you this damn song. You just can’t take a joke too far,” the Foo Fighters frontman acknowledged Bublé’s commitment.
