Foo Fighters album without Taylor Hawkins: Must always go on – culture

As is well known, the show must go on. But the vehemence with which they Foo Fighters goes on, may perhaps be a little surprised. As a reminder, Taylor Hawkins, the band’s drummer, died in March last year in a hotel in Bogotá under unclear circumstances. This was followed by two bombastic farewell/obituary/bow salute concerts in London and Los Angeles, with Dave Grohl and his colleagues bringing so many rock celebrities onto the stage that one almost wondered whether Mick Jagger, Harry Styles and the Pope were to say goodbye.
