The singer, who suffers from lung cancer, has canceled a concert scheduled for this evening as part of the Foire en Scène festival.

Florent Pagny, currently treated for lung cancercanceled his concert scheduled for Saturday evening at the Châlons-en-Champagne exhibition center as part of the Foire en Scène festival, according to information from BFMTV.

The singer announced in January 2022 to be suffering from a lung cancer. While he had communicated on the positive evolution of his fight against cancer, he experienced a relapse. “It’s going great,” he told BFMTV last June.

“It’s going impeccable”, he also assured in June at the microphone of RTL. “The PET scan is good, it opens up prospects, I’m on the right track […] we took that shit away.”

He was also cautious: “It does not prevent it from coming back at any time, so you have to be vigilant. […] I will have to follow [le traitement].” Because if the chemotherapy is behind him, as he specifies, the immunotherapy continues.
