Flags, Emmanuel Macron who “pisses off” the unvaccinated and return of the Kärcher … Discover the first Recap of the year

The least we can say is that the presidential year began without an observation round in the electoral campaign. This first week of January was that of all the controversies. First the one on the presence of the European flag under the Arc de Triomphe in Paris to mark the start of the French presidency of the European Union. And then the one launched by Emmanuel Macron, who wants to “piss off” the unvaccinated. We took stock in our Recap of the week, the video appointment of 20 minutes devoted to the race at the Elysee Palace.

The last big fact of the week almost seems to be reheated: the LR candidate, Valérie Pécresse, wants “to bring the Kärcher out of the cellar”. A direct reference to the security policy of Nicolas Sarkozy in the 2000s. Something to please the grassroots, where the former President of the Republic is still popular.

Discover our Recap in video above. And see you next Friday for the sixth issue of the Récap!
