Benjamin Goller will move to 1. FC Nürnberg at the start of the January transfer window. With a guest player’s license, the 23-year-old will start team training with the second division club on Monday.
“Benjamin has repeatedly shown his skills at his previous stations. Now he should take his next development step with us,” said Nuremberg’s sporting director Dieter Hecking.
Injury threw Goller back at Werder
After an outstanding summer preparation, Werder had actually planned with Goller. But the youngster then got injured and moved back into the second tier; during the season he did not get a chance in Bremen.
