The case is far from over. This morning, the Ille-et-Vilaine gendarmes arrested several people in connection with a stabbing case. The public prosecutor specifies that five people, including a minor, are currently in police custody,
confirming the information from Ouest-France.

The facts date back to April 20 and would have taken place in the town of Montreuil-sur-Ille (Ille-et-Vilaine). A 26-year-old man was injured from multiple stab wounds and wounds to the abdomen. The firefighters had been called and had taken care of the victim near the convenience store of the town.

According to our information, the attack took place a little earlier in the neighboring village of Dingé. The gendarmes explain that the case “is not clear”. The victim allegedly spoke of a commercial dispute with his attackers and a money problem over the purchase of cigarettes. The investigators seek to confirm this track and to clarify the object of this mysterious transaction. Police custody should last twenty-four hours.
