Five and six years in prison for torturing a man for a drug debt

The public prosecutor of Saint-Brieuc had mentioned facts “of extreme gravity. On the night of February 21 to 22, a 40-year-old man was kidnapped and tortured in the Loudéac region (Côtes-d’Armor), presumably for a drug debt. Forced into a vehicle, the victim was beaten up and left for dead and naked on an isolated farm road.

For more than an hour, the two attackers had subjected the forties to numerous abuses. Hit with bits of wood, he had also been burned with a fork. His clothes had been charred and one of his executioners had urinated on him. He had been prescribed a total incapacity for work of thirty days.

Five and six years in prison

Two weeks later, the two suspects were arrested, one in the Paris region and the other in Loudéac. They had partially admitted the facts in police custody. Tried on Tuesday before the Saint-Brieuc criminal court, the two individuals, aged 25 and 34, were sentenced respectively to five and six years in prison, reports The Telegram.
