Fisker: The next big electric car bankruptcy is looming – economy

The US car manufacturer Fisker is in financial difficulties. Production in Austria is at a standstill and negotiations with a partner have failed. Now the stock exchange is suspending trading in Fisker shares. Is this the end?

Henrik Fisker has become quiet – and perhaps that is the most important indication that things are not going well for his company, the US electric car manufacturer of the same name. Fisker used to give regular updates on LinkedIn and document them with photos whenever he discovered one of his vehicles somewhere. He also liked to be seen personally handing over cars to customers. But for three months: nothing anymore. In his last post he said that the negative headlines about his company were “exaggerated.” But there are increasing signs that this was not the case – and that the next big electric car bankruptcy could be imminent.
