Funny intervention, Monday morning, for the firefighters, in Nîmes (Gard): they intervened urgently to capture a feline, near a roundabout, close to the motorway tollbooth. The animal was wandering by the side of the road.
It is a serval, a species common in Africa, which lives in humid savannas. The firefighters have absolutely no idea where it came from: the animal was not in good standing, no flea was detected.
In your opinion: what is the breed of this feline? He was found by firefighters from the Nimes-center rescue center this morning in Nîmes at the kilometer delta roundabout, near the Fiat garage. @lEnglish_jm @Midilibre @GazettedeNimes @bleugardlozere @ F3OccitanieLR @objectivegard pic.twitter.com/H5gpU8KcA4

The animal was taken care of by the services of the Departmental Directorate for the Protection of the Populations to find it a place of reception. Research is also underway to try to find its possible owner.
