In LEGO Fortnite, amber is an important resource for upgrading your settlement and your equipment. You can find out where you can find it and what you can do with it on MeinMMO.
Where can I find amber? To find amber, you have to go to the desert region, i.e. the Drought Valley in LEGO Fortnite, where you can also find the softwood. However, the material is not as easily accessible as cacti. To get amber you have to climb some rocks.
As a precaution, take normal wood with you if you want to build stairs to reach the places on the rocks. Additionally, you need a pickaxe that is at least “uncommon” (green) to mine the material.
To get to the golden nodes on and the black rocks in Dürretal, you can try to reach them using a built staircase. If you have a hang glider, you can climb an even higher rock and fly over with the hang glider. But you can also just walk on some rocks – just take a good look around.
Where is the Dürretal? Drought Valley is a warm to hot region in LEGO Fortnite and can be recognized by the brown areas on the map. If you see golden dots on the black rocks, you should set off because: That’s amber.
The geysers also sometimes prove helpful. Water is pushed up from the holes in the ground when you stand on them – catapulting you into the air.
Why do I need amber? With amber you can build various crafting tables for your settlement, decorations, but also useful equipment in LEGO Fortnite. We list a few items for which you need the material below:
- Gemstone cutter
- Essence table
- Glass dishes, oil and pan
- rare forest axe
- Condition lucky charm
For some of them, unpolished, i.e. raw, amber is sufficient. For others, however, you first have to process the amber into polished amber using a gemstone cutter.
