Fever juices sold out – homeopathy as an alternative?

Paracetamol and ibuprofen have antipyretic and analgesic properties. Ibuprofen is also said to have an anti-inflammatory effect. No wonder that both active ingredients cannot be dispensed with. Especially not when you consider that around one million bottles of paracetamol juice are prescribed by paediatricians in this country every year. However, delivery bottlenecks are currently causing failures. What are the alternatives? However, it is known that paracetamol causes a pronounced inhibition of cerebral prostaglandin synthesis and only weakly inhibits peripheral prostaglandin synthesis. The antipyretic effect is due to an effect on the temperature regulation center in the hypothalamus.

ibuprofen comes as part of self-medication for mild to moderately severe Pains used and belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The effect is due to non-selective inhibition of the cyclooxygenases COX-1 and COX-2. Dosing depends on body weight or age – usually 7 to 10 mg/kg as a single dose, up to a maximum of 20 to 30 mg/kg as a total daily dose. Children and adolescents from the age of twelve and adults take 200 to 400 mg as a single dose, the maximum daily dose is 1,200 mg ibuprofen.
