He was a former racing driver, a descendant of the House of Hohenzollern and also made a name for himself with television appearances. Ferfried Prince von Hohenzollern has now died at the age of 79. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper and relies on statements from the closest family circle. Accordingly, he died in the night from Monday to Tuesday in the Großhadern clinic in Munich.

In addition to his professional career and his noble lineage, the public focus was also on the private life of the former motor sportsman. In 2004, during his third marriage, his relationship with reality TV star Tatjana Gsell became public. Two years later they got their own format with “Tatjana & Foffi – Cinderella becomes Princess”. But that was obviously not good for their connection, they separated in the same year.

“We were together for two years. And I’ll be honest: The first year it was a relationship, yes, a love affair. But we were too different. The last year we only worked for the media,” said the today 51- year-old five years ago about their time together.

“Foffi” leaves a total of four children. Two daughters come from his first marriage to Angela von Morgen, who died in 2019. He had another daughter and a son together with his second wife Eliane Etter. The third marriage with Maja Synke Meinert was divorced in 2007, they had no offspring together.
