Female pilots make history as the first mother-daughter pair

Watch the video: Female pilots make history – first mother-daughter pair flies international flight.

Teri Eidson and Nicole McCallister made history last month by becoming the first mother-daughter pair to fly an international flight. Teri Eidson had applied for the joint flight with her employer FedEx. The two flew the cargo plane 11,265 kilometers from Memphis to Incheon in South Korea. SB MOTHER TERI EIDSON: We both flew up here in this huge jet, it was a warming feeling. I enjoyed it. The mother was the captain at the controls, her daughter took off and landed. Nicole McCallister also began a career with FedEx after the Air Force. SB DAUGHTER NICOLE MCCALLISTER: My mother inspires me in so many ways, she was always there and she is still there as an adult. There will probably not be another flight together any time soon – mother and daughter work in different US states.
