A group of previously unknown young people is said to have attacked a family in Fürth, central Franconia, seriously injuring the 35-year-old father. According to police on Friday, the man had to undergo emergency surgery on the evening of the attack. The crime occurred in mid-April in the Klinikum subway station.
After an argument, around ten young people surrounded and attacked the man. According to the police, they jointly beat the 35-year-old. At least one of the attackers is said to have kicked the man who was lying on the ground. The 44-year-old wife tried to help her husband and was slightly injured by the young people. The eight-year-old child was uninjured.
According to the current status of the investigation, there was no prior relationship between the couple and the young people. Several eyewitnesses are said to have witnessed the crime – the Fürth criminal police are asking them to contact the investigators.
