Felix Lobrecht thinks it’s great: Unknown comedians on a big stage

Hardly anyone knows their names. Nevertheless, the comedy collective “4 Enemies” dared to jump onto one of the biggest stages in the country. Of the star accompanied the four newcomers on their way to the Lanxess Arena.

A Hamburg comedy club, end of June. It smells like a basement. Alex Stoldt holds on to the cable microphone in front of a bare brick wall. “I only had a ticket in my wallet – that’s minus 20 euros,” he says. “That’s why I was hoping someone would steal it.” Tango is actually danced here. On this evening, five comedians stand in front of exactly 21 spectators one after the other. Alex Stoldt and Yorick Thiede test their new gags. If they work here, then on the big stage too. But the mood doesn’t boil over.
