Felix and Miriam Neureuther’s family is growing again: the 31-year-old is pregnant for the third time. The two announced this via Instagram. Numerous sports colleagues congratulated.

Former ski racer Felix Neureuther and his wife Miriam are again expecting offspring. The two announced this on their respective Instagram accounts. The 31-year-old published a photo showing her with skis in the snow. Miriam Neureuther lovingly holds her stomach and commented: “Our family continues to grow #thankful”. Felix Neureuther also posted a snapshot from the snow on which he jokingly stretches his stomach forward. “Number 3 is on the way,” wrote the 37-year-old.

Felix and Miriam Neureuther already have two children together. Their daughter Madita was born in October 2017, and their son Leo followed in February 2020. The ex-athletes also announced the pregnancies and births of their two older children via Instagram. Numerous congratulations were collected under the current postings.

“Juhuuuu, I’m so happy for you,” remarked the former cross-country skier Evi Dingebacher-Stehle. The 41-year-old won silver in the relay at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver with Miriam Neureuther (then Gössner). Biathlete Franziska Hildebrand, runner Sabrina Mockenhaupt and golfer Martin Kaymer also congratulated. The 37-year-old became a father for the first time just a few days ago. This prompted moderator Kai Pflaume to comment: “Then you can go baby swimming together”.

Felix and Miriam Neureuther have been a couple since 2013 and got married at the end of 2017. The son of ski legends Rosi Mittermaier and Christian Neureuther was a successful ski racer and ended his career in spring 2019. Since then he can be seen as a sports expert on ARD. Miriam Neureuther also began her career as an alpine skier, but then switched to biathlon and cross-country skiing. She also ended her career in 2019.
